A Nation in Decline

Today, in this article i will go on a rant about our once glorious nation, who has now fallen victim to the greed and idiotic behavior of its own sons and how it has framed the mindset of a 14 year old boy, his crime was that he took his head out of the dirt and looked around. And now for the life of him he wants to go back. But he can't because the only sad part about being faster than light is that you have to live in darkness.

Let's start with the group of people between whose legs we all start our lives. Women. Society, especially ours thinks that it can dictate every fucking part of a women's life, even if she gets to live at birth. People say that the purdah system and the conservative mindset about women was started when the mughals came to india, well what about now? Why are there still places in this country where oppression of women is still a thing? When a lady has her time of the month she is not allowed to touch anything in the kitchen or any holy stuff, in some households everything she touches is to be washed after her period ends. People say it was done in the olden times to give the lady some rest. Well what about now? We know the science behind it. Why is that practice of treating our family members like animals for a few days of the month still a thing?

Another big issue is freedom, just the other day some "Baba" made a comment about how by the time a girl is 25 "char jagha muh mar chuki hoti hai " when will our people realize that if you are a legal citizen of this country who is above the age of 18 can do whatever they want as long as it is within the limits of the rights provided to us by our constitution. So two people who are in a consensual relationship or are engaging in consensual sex are doing no wrong. And if somebody tries to defend these bullshit ideas saying "Ye sab humare culture mai nahi hai" I want you to tell them to take their culture and shove it up their ass. To see how open our culture used to be just look up the inscriptions on the khujaro temple. "Our Culture" every other Bollywood movie is either a love story, or has an item song. Every other Bollywood movie is promoting consensual love between two individuals yet love marriage is frowned upon. Parents have no problem letting their child see an action scene in a movie where some guy guts some other guy like a goat but if there is a kissing scene or a sex scene in a movie it's all of sudden a problem. Because we all know, boobs are way more dangerous than guns or knives.

Also parenting, parents in this country have given mobile phones to their children unrestricted. And unlike me who had an uncle and intelligent parents who although made the same mistake but prepared me very early on about what's right and what's wrong, other kids don't. Some kids in my class said Hitler was good and they hate the Jews, the guy who said this to me said "the jews" in a very German accent so I thought he was joking but the look on his face was serious, the poor dumbass did not even know why Hitler hated the Jews. He was just a master oogway fan. Remember that guy?

But there is an incident which gave me some hope. When I expressed my atheist views to one of my new friends in my new school he at first wanted to have a debate but then gently told me that if we were to argue about our views on such a topic it would stain our friendship so he proposed we just agree to disagree and put our differences behind us, he did not shout, get mad, guilt trip me or make any personal comments about me. We just agreed to disagree, so maybe the adults in this country can learn a thing or two.
